ULTRA VEIL

ULTRA VEIL
30 October – 8 November 2026
Ambika P3, University of Westminster
35 Marylebone Road, London NW1 5LS
11.00–19.00 daily | Free entry
The Westminster Menswear Archive presents ULTRA VEIL, a new immersive exhibition by artist and designer Aitor Throup at Ambika P3.
The exhibition presents Throup’s first new body of conceptual fashion work in a decade and brings together more than 100 unique objects, including clothing prototypes, sculptures and drawings. Rather than presenting fashion solely through finished garments, ULTRA VEIL brings together objects at different stages of development, from drawing and experimentation through to prototype and emerging product. The exhibition reveals the development of Throup’s design practice and the conceptual foundations of AITOR ULTRA.
The exhibition is presented and supported by the Westminster Menswear Archive and is also supported by Fred Perry.

Students will begin by looking closely at the objects themselves, considering material, construction, silhouette and evidence of process before further context about Throup’s work and practice is introduced.
