Westminster Menswear Archive to host Beams’ Expedition Club London

This October, the Westminster Menswear Archive and the University of Westminster will host the first international edition of Beams’ renowned Expedition Club at Ambika P3. The event celebrates the global history and culture of classic outdoor clothing, uniting collectors, archives, and retailers from across the world.

Curated by Shigeru Kaneko, Beams Plus Chief Buyer and author of Outdoor Expedition Book 99, Expedition Club London offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore, handle, and learn from some of the most influential garments in outdoor design.

Highlights include:

• Shigeru Kaneko’s personal collection of rare and historic outdoor garments.

• A travelling display from the Outdoor Recreation Archive at Utah State University, featuring original outdoor brand catalogues.

• Vintage alpine downwear curated by Jojo Elgarice of Rag Parade, Sheffield, tracing the European roots of the modern outdoor jacket.
